16 and older. The forum is for members 16 and older.
Keep it clean. No porn or sexual content, no child abuse, no animal abuse, no swearing or slurs.
No harassment. No hate, no pile-ons, no doxxing (real names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces), no spam or ads.
Spoilers in the case's space only. Anything that gives a case away stays inside that case's own space — never in a title, never in General.
Bug reports. Go in Bug reports, with the case name in the subject: “Cold Storage — the gate code is not accepted”.
Links and pictures. Only direct image links ending in .jpg, .jpeg or .png that are safe for work, or a picture attached from the composer. Emojis are welcome. No other links or attachments.
Stay on topic. Post in the folder that fits. Off-topic threads are moved or removed.
The moderator. An automatic moderator, Case Closed Moderator, reads every post. It may hide a post, delete an off-topic thread, and silence or ban an account. Appeals go to info@playcaseclosed.ca.

What the forum is

The club room for Port Merrow detectives: General chat, real murder mystery solving, off topic, other games and feedback; a space for every Official case (spoilers allowed, open once you have submitted that case); Creator Corner for people building cases; and Bug reports. Solving the Riddle of the Month is the door — it grants forum access for 60 days and a badge on your page, and every new riddle is another chance. Members are 16 and older.
